Disha Patani’s father scammed
Actress Disha Patani’s father and retired DSP Jagdish Singh Patani was duped of Rs 25 lakh by a fraudster on the pretext of getting him a senior post in a government commission. According to the police, this group of fraudsters allegedly duped Gadish Singh Patani of Rs 25 lakh in the name of getting him a senior government post. In this, Rs 5 lakh was taken in cash and Rs 20 lakh was transferred to three different bank accounts.

Disha Patani’s father lives in Civil Lines area of Bareilly. In his complaint, he alleged that one of his acquaintances, Shivendra Pratap Singh, had introduced him to Diwakar Garg and Acharya Jaiprakash. According to the complaint, Shivendra had promised Patani a position of chairman, vice-chairman or any such big government post in a government commission, citing his good political connections. Jagdish Singh said in his complaint that these people had introduced one of their associates, Himanshu, to him as a “Special Duty Officer”.
Retired police officer Jagdish Singh also alleged that when the work was not done even after paying the full amount, these people promised to return the money with interest. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
